Part Time Produce

About the role

Cub New Brighton on Rice Creek Road is seeking a part-time produce team member to join their team. The produce team ensures shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers. Key responsibilities include product rotation to maintain freshness and assist customers with questions.

Responsibilities

• Perform aisle stocking and display building
• Sort produce food stock loads
• Aid cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Answer department phone calls and respond/refers as appropriate
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures

Requirements

• Equipment operation (fork lift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods
• Memorization, reading, writing and math skills
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment for handling tasks independently when necessary
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Ability to work varied weekly shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil

Compensation
