Job Overview
Cub Apple Valley is seeking a part-time produce team member to ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers. The role involves product rotation to maintain freshness and customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Equipment operation (fork lift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.)
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing and math
- On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
- Good judgment required for handling situations without immediate supervision
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Requirements
- Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing and math
- On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
- Good judgment required for handling situations without immediate supervision
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be 16 years of age and older
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
- Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
- Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil
Schedule
Variated weekly evening shifts

Compensation
UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
