Part Time Produce

About the role

Cub Plymouth on Vicksburg Lane is seeking a part-time produce team member to join their team. The role involves ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers, while also managing product rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs aisle stocking and display building
• Sorts produce food stock loads
• Aids cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Assists customers with questions about product locations and suggestions
• Answers department phone calls and responds or refers as appropriate
• Fulfills all store and department policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (fork lift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Capable of working varied weekly shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil
