Job Overview
Cub Brooklyn Park North is seeking a part-time Pricing Clerk.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure positive customer relations and satisfaction
- Implement price changes as directed
- Cook up and conduct scheduled implementation of price changes
- Coordinate and conduct price changes
- Ensure new items are priced accurately and all necessary data is entered into computer
- Cook up and perform proper signage
- Cook up and conduct verification of prices on an ongoing basis using verification equipment and audits
- Maintain an efficient organization of pricing office and equipment
Job Requirements
- Equipment Operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, telephone, computer, tape, markers, verification unit)
- Memorization, reading, writing and math
- The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be 18 years old
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
