Part-Time Preschool Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Preschool Afternoon Teacher at our Fitchburg and Devens locations. This position offers 20–30 hours weekly, beginning in August. Our year-round program is rooted in child-centered activities, viewing children as powerful, capable, and resourceful learners. Our Emergent Curriculum builds from the natural curiosities of students, with project-based and hands-on activities. Both sites feature an Outdoor Classroom, Art Studio, and Yoga Program.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Associated college-level work, Associate’s, or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• EEC certification (Devens Location)
• 12 months of professional teaching experience
• Ability to develop an emergent curriculum that encourages students to explore, create, and investigate
• Skills that foster positive relationships, interactions, and communication with co-workers and parents
