About the role

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal service, including preparing salads, soups, and desserts.
• Manage room service trays.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Participate in training sessions.
• Support documentation of food safety logs.
• Promote the organization’s mission and values.
• Work on holidays and during special events.

Requirements

• Willingness to work with seniors and prepare therapeutic/modified diets.
• Experience in food prep within a senior living environment preferred.
• Proficiency in all cooking methods and good knife skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
