Part Time - Pool Server

About the role

Create exceptional dining experiences by greeting guests, providing menu recommendations, taking accurate orders, and serving food and beverages professionally. Ensure guest satisfaction through personalized service, maintain cleanliness, process payments, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure positive first impressions
• Guide guests through menus and answer questions
• Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders
• Serve orders promptly, ensuring quality standards
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience
• Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area
• Handle payments and cash transactions accurately
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff

Requirements

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, if applicable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred 6 months to 1 year serving experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Meet jurisdiction age requirements
