Part-Time - Periodontist

About the role

This part-time position is for a Periodontist providing surgical care in El Paso, TX, with two days per month dedicated to patient treatments. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care and clinical impact within an underserved community.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage periodontal and peri-implant diseases
• Perform full-scope periodontal surgeries, including:
  • Pocket reduction
  • Soft-tissue grafts
  • Crown lengthening
  • Implant placement
  • Grafting
  • Sinus augmentation
• Handle a variety of cases, including consults and follow-ups
• Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to ensure efficient care and case acceptance

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree
• Completion of a CODA-accredited residency
• Active Texas dental license
• Experience in periodontal and implant surgeries
• Board certification preferred
• Comfort working within flexible schedules, including occasional same-day procedures

Candidates do not need to reside locally, as travel to El Paso is supported.
