Part Time Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night

About the role

Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, demonstrating proficiency in respiratory therapy practices within hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Respiratory Care program
• Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Licensed by the state
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Additional certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple sites as needed
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Recognize patient needs and provide education to patients and families
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Promote continuity of care
• Adhere to laboratory and safety protocols
• Serve as a role model for students and new staff
• Maintain professional behavior

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift over 15 pounds
• Stand for extended periods
• Manage exposure to blood and body fluids
