Part Time Parts Clerk

Description

As the maintenance storeroom clerk, you will be responsible for helping to manage a large, complicated parts room. You will assist the procurement manager with ordering equipment and supplies, help improve record-keeping processes and procedures, and assist the techs in maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be 18 years of age
• An interest in manufacturing, automotive maintenance, or other mechanical acumen is highly valued
• Ability to use computer and related software programs (JDE, CMMS, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to maintain complex records and to assemble and organize data
• Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Be comfortable asking questions and be able to listen and follow instructions
