About the role

Prysmian is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that maintenance and production teams have the necessary parts to operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to assess customer needs and prioritize parts.
• Avoidable to work weekends and overtime.
• Unload, receive, and verify materials and parts.
• Accurately identify parts and coordinate with appropriate personnel or departments for material pickup and distribution.
• Properly store and organize materials in designated inventory locations.
• Research historical inventory movements, locations, and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies or issues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of corrective actions related to inventory control.
• Conduct inventory audits at defined intervals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the stock management system.
• Provide support to other parts personnel and on-campus warehouse locations to ensure efficient service to internal customers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D certificate.
• Basic understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical parts knowledge.
• One year of Inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift heavy objects and/or machine parts with or without assistance.
• Ability to work with scanning equipment and online software.
