About the role
Prysmian is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that maintenance and production teams have the necessary parts to operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with internal departments to assess customer needs and prioritize parts.
- Avoidable to work weekends and overtime.
- Unload, receive, and verify materials and parts.
- Accurately identify parts and coordinate with appropriate personnel or departments for material pickup and distribution.
- Properly store and organize materials in designated inventory locations.
- Research historical inventory movements, locations, and transfers to determine root causes of discrepancies or issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of corrective actions related to inventory control.
- Conduct inventory audits at defined intervals to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the stock management system.
- Provide support to other parts personnel and on-campus warehouse locations to ensure efficient service to internal customers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D certificate.
- Basic understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical parts knowledge.
- One year of Inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift heavy objects and/or machine parts with or without assistance.
- Ability to work with scanning equipment and online software.
