About the role
Part-Time Paramedic responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care using advanced medical procedures and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate interventions based on protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure proper care and reassurance.
- Act as team leader when needed, managing scene safety and unit operations.
- Collaborate professionally with other health and safety personnel.
- Develop triage skills for efficient response during calls.
- Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and assist with patient mobility.
- Coordinate with receiving facilities and support ambulance operations, including driving and navigation.
- Participate in community outreach to maintain positive public relations and meet client needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
- Current Montana Paramedic Certification or application pending, and National Registry certification.
- Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, or PEPP certifications.
- Ability to pass drug, background, and physical agility screenings.

- Ability to lift and move patients, adapt to overnight shift schedules, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
