Part-Time Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following advanced protocols.
• Use medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and information.
• Lead scene and unit management as a team leader when required.
• Operate ambulance vehicles safely during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to promote positive community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
