Part Time Office Clerk

We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties to support our business office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile daily cash, checks, and credit card payments
- Aid with month-end closing and journal entries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
- Provide administrative support to the Controller and the office team
Qualifications
- Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required; automotive dealership experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Work Schedule
20–25 hours per week
Flexible schedule available Monday–Friday during business hours
