This position supports the daily operations of MCAAC by providing administrative and clerical assistance to management and staff. Ideal for an organized, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about animal welfare.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and maintain reports, mailing lists, and contact databases.
- Organize, maintain, and file paper and electronic records.
- Assist with donor correspondence and acknowledgments.
- Monitor office and facility supply inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
- Provide administrative support and occasional coverage for the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Perform general office duties, including data entry, copying, scanning, and document preparation.
- Complete off-site errands in a timely and efficient manner using personal transportation.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling financial, donor, and personal information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat or similar software.
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to the mission of MCAAC.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
Pay
$14.00 per hour
Schedule
Part-time position averaging 20 hours per week
