Part-time Office Assistant
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.
Responsibilities
- Responding to inquiries from employees, vendors, and/or other interested parties regarding payment, purchase status, and/or other related information
- Filing and maintaining financial records, logs, and forms
- Performing audits of financial activities and procedures
- Recording, analyzing, verifying, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions
- Data entry of information contained on financial documents
- Preparing a variety of reports related to financial activities
- Gathering data information in support of budgetary preparation activities
- Performing a variety of clerical duties which may include typing, answering phones, filing, copying, faxing, opening and distribution of mail, and other related activities
- Serving as a liaison between assigned section or division and other employees, external agencies, the general public, and/or other interested parties
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Management
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
Pay
Hourly rate at grade 97.
