Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients. May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician. Minimum Requirements Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of NursingMaintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in MissouriGraduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certificationCertification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a providerCurrent BCLS verificationDemonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practiceDemonstrates leadership ability3-5 years clinical experienceCurrent ACLS and must be maintained in a current/active state for continued employment when required by the department
