Part-Time Neurology Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct patient care activities within established nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. This position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices. Qualifications & Skills RN licensure required; BSN preferred.Experience in neurology or related clinical areas is a plus.Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
