Part Time Multimodal Technician

About the role

Performs specialized imaging procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system, including angio, vascular, neuro interventional, and therapeutic procedures, while assisting the Radiologist or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, review medical history, and ensure proper positioning and site preparation.
• Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing errors or artifacts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitor patients during procedures, observe abnormalities, and follow safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform point of care testing as needed and assist with updates to protocols.

Requirements

• Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
• No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Visual and auditory acuity.
• Patient handling, including occasional lifting and bending.

Schedule

Day shift, 20 hours per week.
