About the role
A Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist who assists with procedures diagnosing and treating the cardiovascular system.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning, and site preparation.
- Perform specialized imaging procedures such as angio, vascular, neuro interventional, and therapeutic interventions.
- Assist radiologists and PAs during procedures.
- Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas; ensure proper functionality and report issues.
- Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
- Monitor patient during procedures, observe for abnormal activity, and follow safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
- Perform point of care testing as needed and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (0-50 lbs), and perform repetitive movements.
- Strong visual, auditory, and communication skills.
Schedule
Work primarily during day shifts. Part-time position with 20 hours weekly.
