Part Time Multi-Modality Technologist

About the Role

The radiologic technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. They provide patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring safety, and maintaining comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures accurately and efficiently
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout procedures
• Verify patient details and prepare for examinations
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, regulatory, and organizational policies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adhere to radiation safety standards

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Minimum of 2 years of diagnostic imaging and CT experience (expertise in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams preferred)
• ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• Registration with SCRQSA
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
• Ability to produce high-quality images with minimal supervision and work effectively in a team
• Knowledge of age-specific imaging criteria and safety protocols
