Part-Time - Medication Aide (CNA required) - Days - Eventide Prairie Commons

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Affords assistance with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet the changing needs of seniors, clients, caregivers, TEAMembers, and managers, as needed.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment, as directed by Eventide, irrespective of TEAMember preference.
• Complies with the comprehensive care plan/service plan for each individual senior/client, adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding privacy.
• Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, in accordance with physician orders and facility policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Active, good-standing MA40 and CNA licenses required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of NE required.
• Active MA40 license in the state of NE required.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
