Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
  • Affords support during Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
  • Prioritizes tasks throughout the shift to address frequently changing or overlapping needs, including call lights.
  • Performs duties within the assigned work environment, as directed by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
  • Follows the comprehensive care plan/service plan for each individual senior/client, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, following facility policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Active, good-standing MA40 and CNA licenses required.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA license in the state of NE required.
  • Active MA40 license in the state of NE required.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Pay

The starting pay range for MA's at Eventide is $19.00-$21.28 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.

Schedule

The position is scheduled from 2p-10p (8 hours), with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
