Medication Aide (CNA required) - Full-Time - Evenings - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

About the role

The Medication Aide (MA40) position is available for an Evening shift from 2p-10p (8 Hours), with an every other weekend and holiday rotation. The position is located at Tabitha, part of Eventide.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Aids in Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet changing needs, including call lights.
• Performs work duties within the assigned environment, as directed by Eventide.
• Follows comprehensive care plans and service plans for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations to ensure PHI is safeguarded.
• Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within the scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.

Requirements

• Active and good-standing MA40.
• CNA license required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA license in the state of NE required.
• Active MA40 license in the state of NE required.

Compensation

• Starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location.
