Medication Aide (CNA required) - Evening - Part-Time - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

About the role

The Part-Time Medication Aide (MA40) position is available for an Evening shift from 2p-10p (8 hours), with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The position is located at Tabitha, which is now part of Eventide.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Affords support during Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submitting completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet changing needs, including call lights.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment, as directed by Eventide, regardless of personal preference.
• Complies with comprehensive care plans and service plans for each individual senior/client, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the supervision of the RN, within the scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies.

Requirements

• Active, good-standing MA40 and CNA licenses required.
• Ideal candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience as an aide or caregiver is preferred.
• An active CNA license in the state of NE is required.
• An active MA40 license in the state of NE is required.

Compensation

Eventide offers a competitive starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
