Medication Aide (CNA required) - Part-Time - Days - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

About the role

The Part-Time Day Medication Aide position is scheduled from 6am-6:30pm with an every third weekend and holiday rotation. The position is located at Eventide, where Tabitha is now employed.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Affords assistance with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, as needed.
• Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
• Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
• Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.

Requirements

• An active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license required.
• At least age 18.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow protocols and procedures.
• Attention to detail.

Benefits

Eventide offers a competitive starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
