Medication Aide (CNA required) - Part-Time - Evenings - Eventide Prairie Commons

About the role

The Medication Aide position at Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island is part-time, scheduled from 2p-10p (8 hours), with an every other weekend and holiday rotation. Tabitha is now Eventide. For more information, visit: https://eventide.org/tabitha/.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Affords assistance with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Fulfills department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments, adjusting throughout the shift to meet changing needs, as needed.
• Executes work duties within the assigned work environment, as directed by Eventide, irrespective of TEAMember preference.
• Complies with comprehensive care plans and service plans for each individual senior/client, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilizes a MA40 to prepare and administer medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, in accordance with facility policies and physician orders.

Requirements

• Active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA license in the state of NE required.
• Active MA40 license in the state of NE required.

Qualifications

Benefits

• Competitive starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's based on qualifications, experience, and location.
• Shift premiums and differentials available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
