Part-Time Medication Aide

About the Role

The PRN Medication Aide supervises self-administered medication for Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with Federal & State regulations and organizational guidelines. They report health changes, respond to emergencies, and maintain communication with staff and departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervising medication administration and documenting resident health updates
• Responding swiftly to emergencies and maintaining safety protocols
• Providing educational sessions for residents and staff
• Upholding confidentiality and adhering to policies and procedures
• Participating in training, maintaining a safe environment, and fostering a positive demeanor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 months related experience or training
• Licensed CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide
• Certification in medication administration approved by the Department of Health and Senior Services
