Responsibilities
- Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents' care plans.
- Accurately document medication administration and maintain records.
- Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
- Aid residents with activities of daily living while providing compassionate, dignified care.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive community where everyone feels valued.
Requirements
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent based on state requirements).
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for serving older adults.
- Basic computer skills for medication documentation and tracking.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
