About the role
We are looking for a Part-time Customer Service Representative with medical scheduling experience to support our clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls
- Ensure the office has accurate demographic and insurance information on file
- Schedule patients for advanced physical exams and other appointments
- Assist patients with scheduling needs and answer their questions
- Conduct campaign calls to schedule appointments
- Meet weekly and monthly scheduling goals
- Proactively implement and improve scheduling processes
- Anticipate patient anxieties and ensure their comfort
- Update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic, eClinicalWorks (ECW), or Athena
- Positive, professional attitude and code of conduct
- Ability to meet goals consistently
- Passion for helping people and healthcare
- Excellent, professional communication skills
Pay
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule
- Around 30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
