Part-Time Medical Director

About the Role

The Medical Director leads the Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, providing patient care, medical evaluations, and establishing dosing protocols. They oversee clinical operations, supervise physician extenders, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review treatment plans, sign patient records, and oversee medication dosing.
• Manage patient admissions for methadone and buprenorphine therapy.
• Ensure quality care through regular oversight, documentation, and emergency management.
• Initiate and modify narcotic therapies following established protocols.
• Oversee medication administration, collaborate with other healthcare providers, and provide patient education.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold clinical standards across the team.

Requirements

• Board certification in any residency.
• Current WA medical license and DEA registration.
• Satisfactory background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Strong leadership and clinical judgment.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment protocols.
