Part-Time Medical Biller | Remote

Beam Healthcare is looking for a part-time Medical Biller (approximately 5 hours per week) to manage claims creation and billing, ensuring all charge opportunities are captured.

Responsibilities

• Submit claims to insurance companies on behalf of Beam Healthcare.
• Use medical billing software to enter patient demographics, procedures, diagnoses, charges, payments, and balance.
• Maintain patient billing records.
• Perform other administrative tasks related to claims and billing as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in medical billing in the inpatient setting.
• Experience with critical care billing codes and telemedicine.
• Proficiency with medical billing software; prior use of Athelas Insights preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
