About the role
At Brightmont Academy, we offer a unique teaching model where each student receives personalized one-to-one instruction. Since 1999, we've been helping students in grades 1–12 achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Tailor lessons to individual student needs and learning styles
- Guide students to mastery using a gradual release approach
- Build confidence and academic success in your students
- Focus on inspiring your students rather than administrative tasks like lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading
- Enjoy professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching career
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology—anything that fuels your passion)
- Patience and empathy to support diverse learners
- A genuine passion to teach and share your subject with others
- Proficiency in using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS)
- Ability to provide fingerprints (Arizona and Washington state only) and pass a federal background check
