At Brightmont Academy, we offer personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Founded in 1999, our mission is to help students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

- Teach students one-on-one, adapting lessons to their unique needs and learning styles. - Guide students towards mastery through a gradual release approach that builds confidence and academic success. - Focus solely on teaching without the stress of lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading. - Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills.

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology—any subject that ignites your passion!). - Patience and empathy: Recognize that each student learns differently and support them throughout their journey. - A heart for teaching: Share your knowledge with enthusiasm and dedication. - Proficiency with Google Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS). - Ability to provide fingerprints (required for Arizona and Washington state residents) and pass a federal background check.

Bonus Qualifications

- A teaching certification (though not required). - An advanced degree in a specific subject area. - Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
