About the role
This position provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, working within the scope of licensure.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients
- Administer medications
- Perform laboratory tests
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, self-care, and available resources
- Document provider encounters
- Transcribe orders
- Ensure complete patient records for optimal treatment decisions
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements
- Strong communication skills
- Alertness to ensure patient safety
