Part-Time Lecturer (Civil and Environmental Engineering)

About The Opportunity

Teach selected undergraduate or graduate courses in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Course topics might include any of a full spectrum of disciplinary or interdisciplinary topics offered within the department and its degree programs.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of lectures
• Preparation of course materials
• Preparation of examinations
• Interaction with students
• Evaluation of student performance in the course

Qualifications

• A M.S. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering discipline is required
• Some professional and/or teaching experience preferred
• Strong, effective verbal skills to communicate well with students
