Part Time - Lab Assistant

Role: Lab Assistant responsible for supporting laboratory operations in specimen handling and processing. Responsibilities Receive, sort, and prepare clinical lab specimens for testingScan and enter patient and specimen data accuratelyMaintain and troubleshoot lab equipment and instrumentationReplenish supplies and ensure a clean, safe work environmentComplete administrative tasks and record logs as requiredFollow Standard Operating Procedures to uphold safety and quality standards Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GEDExperience in clinical laboratories, healthcare settings, or manufacturing (preferred)Comfort with biological specimens and accurate specimen identificationBasic computer and data entry skillsAttention to detail, multitasking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and physical ability to sit/stand for extended periodsAbility to pass a color blindness test and work overtime if needed Additional Information: Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more for eligible employees.
