About the role
The School of Computing and Analytics at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for part-time instructor positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more of the following areas: Computer Science & Software Engineering, Cybersecurity & Information Technology, Information Systems & Analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
- Teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the School of Computing and Analytics, depending on departmental needs and the candidate's qualifications.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats as assigned.
- Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Develop and maintain course materials consistent with departmental learning outcomes.
- Submit grades and other required documentation in accordance with university policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Health Informatics, or a closely related field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in a computing-related discipline, previous college or university teaching experience, relevant industry experience and/or professional certifications, experience teaching in online and/or hybrid learning environments.
