Part-Time Instructor - Mathematics, Physics, Data Science

About the role
The selected candidate will teach lower-division courses in mathematics, physics, or astronomy within the Department of Data Science, housed in the College of Science and Mathematics (CoSM). This is a part-time faculty position with a 100% teaching allocation.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the candidate's area of expertise (mathematics, physics, or astronomy).
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in the appropriate field.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- A record of mentoring students.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms such as D2L (or similar LMS) and Pearson MyLab.
