Part Time Instructor Pool - French

About the Role
Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty support the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific tasks. Positions are part of an instructor pool, with assignments varying based on departmental needs.
Faculty may be required to stand or walk for long periods in a typical classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in French language courses
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Develop and update curriculum as needed
- Advise students on academic progress and course selection
- Participate in professional development activities
- Fulfill assignment-specific duties as required
Qualifications
- Master’s in French, or
- Bachelor’s in French and Master’s in another language or linguistics, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience (Equivalency Determination Form required)
If your degree was earned outside the United States, you must submit a foreign degree evaluation from a professional association.
Pay
Starting salary range: $70.84 - $86.11 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule.
