Instructor - Part Time (French Applicant Pool)

Position Information

The number of part-time instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the department. The Instructor-Part Time (Applicant Pool) applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Your application will remain in this applicant pool and be reviewed on an as needed basis.

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in any world language or Master’s degree in any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in French or any other world language related-curriculum, and experience (multiple courses) teaching any world language at the postsecondary level.
• Will consider a Bachelor’s degree in any world language, or in any other discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in French or other world language-related curriculum, and experience (multiple courses) teaching at the postsecondary level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years college level teaching experience.

• Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

This role may also involve standing and walking for periods of time, and the use of hands and moving objects on occasion, of up to 10 lbs.
• Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
