About the Role
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking part-time instructors for its Chinese language program at Grossmont College. This role involves teaching Chinese courses, evaluating students, advising, and contributing to curriculum development. Responsibilities
- Teach Chinese language courses.

Qualifications
- Master's in Chinese.
- OR Bachelor's in Chinese AND Master's in another language or linguistics.
- OR The equivalent (requires submission of an Equivalency Determination Form and supporting materials).
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary based on the subjects taught.
Pay
Starting salary ranges from $70.84 to $86.11 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload, and Substitute Salary Schedule. View the complete salary schedule.

Additional Information
Applications will be kept in the pool for one year and reviewed on an as-needed basis. Applicants with foreign degrees must provide coursework evaluation by a professional association.
