Part-Time English Instructor (Pool)

Duties And Responsibilities

Teach developmental and transfer composition, workplace writing, and/or literature courses.

Job Requirements

• Master's or higher in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR
  • Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's or higher in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR the equivalent (see below)
• Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practice both within and outside of the classroom.
