Part Time Instructor Pool - Arabic

About the role
Part-time faculty perform tasks supporting the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction in Arabic language courses
- Evaluate student performance and progress
- Develop and update curriculum as needed
- Advise students on academic matters
- Participate in professional development activities
- Fulfill any additional assignment-specific requirements
Requirements
- Master's in Arabic or
- Bachelor's in Arabic and Master's in another language or linguistics or
- Equivalent qualifications (Equivalency Determination Form required)
If your degree is from a college or university outside the United States, you must have your coursework evaluated by a professional association. Official transcripts will be required if offered employment.

Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subject taught.
Pay
Starting salary range: $70.84 - $86.11 per hour (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. View the complete salary schedule.
