Part Time - Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development.Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.Adheres to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices; this position is designated as safety-sensitive. Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
