Part Time - Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on managing illnesses, medication administration, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors. Ensures safety for patients and staff, adhering to safety protocols in a safety-sensitive position.
