Part Time Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Psychiatry

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
• Adhere to safety protocols, working in a constant state of alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN license required).
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Licensure as an RN; no supervisory experience necessary.
