Part -Time Hospitality Onsite Job Coach - Casual

About the role

Oakton College is seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Onsite Job Coach to assist with students in an Introduction to Hospitality course. This program, in its third year, offers neurodiverse students enrolled in transitional programs a paid internship in the hotel industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining an environment conducive to learning and working
• Work collaboratively with hotel General Manager and Managers
• Assist hotel staff with student management

Requirements

• Illinois Paraprofessional license, substitute teaching license, professional Educator license, or equivalent experience
• Experience assisting with special education students
• Willing and able to meet the needs of students
• Enthusiastic about working with a special needs population
• Willingness to learn and assist in the evolution of this new pilot program

• Days/Times: Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:15 AM-12:45 PM
• Pay: $25/hr
