Part - Time GSOC Operator

Job Summary

Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a GSOC Operator to support a client in Raleigh, NC. Available shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 9pm to 9am. The GSOC Operator will use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests. This position focuses on physical security risks and involves creating detailed reports, assisting in incident responses, and developing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Use open-source material to find, research, and assess information that could indicate a potential concern to the client, its employees, and its interests.
• Create detailed reports of physical security risk incidents using internal incident management reporting systems.
• Assist in the response to larger incidents that impact the client and develop protocols and practices to drive efficiency and manage crises.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop best-in-class programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
• Interact with all levels of corporation management, liaise internally and externally with a multitude of other departments and personnel.
• Write and publish physical security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to management.
• Execute day-to-day monitoring, incident detection, and reporting.
• Collect, evaluate, and disseminate situations and incidents relating to CCTV and access control systems, supporting the safety and security of client personnel, facilities, and assets, business operations, and reputation.
• Contribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk management.
• Work closely with physical security officers and specialists.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years or more of GSOC experience or equivalent (such as Emergency Call Center, Alarm Monitoring Center).
• Well versed in current GSOC technologies.
• Able to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
• Competence with MS Office Suite and other database systems.
• Willingness to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
• Ability to prepare written reports of incidents in the proper format and with correct grammar and spelling.
• Professional demeanor during stressful situations.
