Part Time - General Medicine Nurse

About the role

Responsibilities

• Educating patients and families on managing health conditions
• Promoting safety and quality compliance
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
• Providing direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation
• Educating patients and families on post-treatment care, medication management, and health maintenance
• Participating in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development
• Developing and communicating comprehensive care plans while considering patient preferences and barriers

Qualifications

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing is advantageous; no prior supervisor experience required
• Preferred: BSN degree and two years of nursing experience
